The award-winning PR company from Knutsford, Firework PR, has been appointed to handle the local launch of Tom Kerridge’s Pub in the Park Tour, Knutsford 2019. The agency successfully handled the local PR and marketing launch for the 2018 event which took place in September at the Lambing Shed, attracting over 13,000 visitors during the three day tour. The event welcomed artists Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Squeeze, Razorlight, Tom Odell, Melanie C, The Christians and Scouting for Girls who all performed to packed crowd. In addition, there were chef demos from Tom Kerridge, Angela Harnett and Brian Mellor,
Cheryl Carroll from organisers Brand Events commented: “Knutsford was a brand new venue for us last year and it was a huge success. Taking a hyper-local approach worked incredibly well and this year we’re really looking at an even bigger event working even more closely with the Knutsford community.”
This year’s event will visit eight UK locations, returning to its original venues – Marlow, Bath, Tunbridge Wells and of course Knutsford; this year it also adds St. Albans, Chiswick, Poole and Roundhay to its tour.
