Chosen to raise awareness of the newly launched boutique, Firework PR helped The Pudding Club achieve regional and national coverage with a creative campaign involving social media.
Firework PR was appointed by The Pudding Club to raise awareness of the newly launched Knutsford based boutique for expectant mums and its extensive maternity range. The key objective of the campaign was to raise awareness of the boutique and drive footfall into the store following its launch in July 2012.
Firework PR worked with Alex, the owner of The Pudding Club, to come up with a series of creative ideas to drive interest in the retail brand and to hook into industry issues that were taking place. The campaign kicked off with local MP, the RT Hon George Osborne, who visited the boutique to officially launch it, resulting in a photo shoot and coverage in local media including Cheshire Life, The Knutsford Guardian and the Knutsford Times. Profile opportunities were secured in the Manchester Evening News and Greater Manchester Business Week following the development of opinion-led launch story.
Firework PR launched The Pudding Club’s new maternity range of wedding dresses, and pitched Alex as an fashion maternity expert to the producers of BBC Radio 5 Live’s brand new programme on pregnancy called ‘The Bump Club’ and secured an interview on the show.
The campaign secured strategic regional and national coverage and positioned Alex as an expert on maternity fashion across all types of wardrobe requirements. The campaign also resulted in strong working relationships with the key media and led to a boost in local awareness with customers referencing coverage as a result of regional pieces, coupled with the integration of an ongoing social media campaign.
