Targeting sports and live event sectors, the ticketing division of Advanced has successfully worked with Firework PR to raise its profile as a thought leader as well as drive credibility around the success of its technology solutions.
Firework initially suggested a media relations programme to raise awareness and drive credibility of the organisation and its solutions. The success of this approach resulted in Advanced extending the brief to encompass brand development and messaging to create a platform of thought leadership within an overall integrated communications strategy.
Firework runs an integrated PR programme consisting of content driven campaigns across channels combining a direct approach to reach new business prospects directly at roundtable events.
An initial messaging workshop provided the foundations for compelling messaging and issues commentary to be used across the business. A series of creative ideas formed the basis of thought leader opportunities, from topics such as data-driven fan engagement through to the importance of the female audience in sport. This incorporated influencer relations (working with industry bodies, analysts and commentators). These were developed into a range of content for various channels – social media, company website, media and industry bodies – and to be used in newsletters & e-marketing campaigns, as well as launched at roundtable events.
Advanced is now a recognised commentator in its target sectors of sport and live events. The PR campaign delivers regular media coverage as well as content on the Advanced website. Through our successful partnership, Advanced embraces potentially controversial topics with confidence and as a result, secures interest from all areas of the media – broadcast, national as well as trade. Its roundtable events often set the agenda for issues commentary and are well-attended by senior business leaders in sports.
